Move Tool
The first tool we can see in the tool box is Move tool. It can move things as we want. first we have to select the tool. We can click on the tool to select or press the "V" key on the keyboard.
To move something we have to select the layer of that thing. to do that we can go to layer panel and click the layer.
I have selected the "rectangle 1" layer. So I can move things on "rectangle 1" layer by clicking and dragging.
Marquee Tool
✹With Photoshop we can do lot of things to our images. Sometimes we want to do some adjustment, painting or something on specific area of our image. At that time we can use a selection.
There are several tools in Photoshop which can make selection.
Marquee tool is one of them.
When we click and hold on this tool we can see two tools. one for rectangular selections and other one for elliptical selections. We can use any of them by moving our mouse to them.
Lasso Tool
There are three Lasso tools. They can use different situations but all of these do selecting a things.
- Lasso Tool
With this tool we can select something by drawing with free hand.
- Polygonal Lasso Tool
With this tool we can draw lines. when we click a point, a line showing with the cursor. That lines comes with cursor until our selection finished. We can select something by clicking several points around it.
- Magnetic Lasso Tool
Magnetic Lasso tool can draw a selection around edges. If our image has an apple and we want to select the apple. We can click first point at the anywhere of the edge of it. After that we can release the mouse button and we have to move the mouse around the apple. Photoshop will create some points around the apple. To finish our selection we have to click first point we clicked.
Quick Selection Tool & Magic Wand Tool
These two tools are for selecting objects. When we click anywhere of our image with this tool it make a selection according to the color of the point we clicked and we can expand our selection by clicking on the area where we want to add. By pressing and holding the "Alt" key, we can reduce the area where we don't want to.
✹We can also adjust the brush (When we activate the tool, mouse cursor changes. It's called the "Brush".) size by holding the "Alt" key and Right clicking and dragging left and right.

Crop Tool
With this tool can crop our document as we want.
We can resize(crop) our document with this tool by clicking on canvas. After click on canvas it shows us a rectangle. we can resize that. What are the outside of the rectangle they removing from document. we can use presets given by adobe or we can use our size by typing at the options.
Eyedropper Tool
With this tool we can pick a color from image. We can select the tool and then we can click on the image. The tool pickup the color where we click.
We can see the color we picked up at the bottom of the tool bar.
Healing brush Tool
With this too we can clone(copy) something and paint with it. some times we have to remove something from our image. To do that we can you this tool. First we have to clone something to paint. To do that we can press and hold the "Alt" key on the keyboard and click a point to clone on image. After that we can release the "Alt" key and paint. When we painting we must remember to keep holding mouse button. Once we release the mouse button we have to pick a point and clone again.
We can also adjust the brush size by holding the "Alt" key and Right clicking and dragging left and right

Spot Healing brush Tool
With this too we can cover some small dots, pimples and some small points. Firstly we have to adjust our brush size according to the point we want to remove. To do that we can "Right click and drag the mouse to left and right with Alt key. After we adjusted the brush we can click the point we want to remove.
Patch Tool
With this tool we can hide some area on our image.
After we activated this tool we can draw a selection.
Then we can move our selection by clicking and dragging.
Now all we have to do is drawing a selection around what we want to hide and move the selection to a suitable area on our image.
Then our selected area will covered by the area where we moved.

Content Aware Move Tool
With this tool we can change the position of some small object.
we can simply draw a selection of any object on our image and move it. After we select and move we have to press "Enter" to move our object.
✹ Actually this tool can't move something on our image. But this tool let us select something and move. After we pres enter Photoshop do some process. Then our object stays where we moved and the area we picked the object will be filled.
There is a feature in Photoshop called "Content Aware Fill". It will fill area we selected.
To do that it use the area around our selection. This tool also use this feature.
Brush Tool and Pencil Tool
Clone Stamp tool and Pattern Stamp Tool
With Clone stamp tool we can clone something from our image and paint with it. We can use this tool to hide something. To adjust this tool we can use the same way of the adjusting brush tool.
Pattern Stamp tool can draw a pattern. we can choose a pattern from option bar.
Eraser Tool
We can erase something by using this. This tool also act like brush tool. We can paint with it but its remove things. But it can't remove background layer and make it transparent. When we paint with this on the background layer it pant black on layer. But on others it works perfectly. We can also adjust the brush size of these like before.
